Oh yea, about that wireless networking.

Linksys WET11 is driving me insane. Have one, works great to computers with wireless cards. Got another, works great to computers with wireless cards.

Neither will talk to or associate with the other WET11. They see each other fine, find them in site survey, click on each other to connect.

No go.

WTF. This is supposed to be easy and automatic.

I am ready to get rid of them and get some Netgear ME101’s instead…

EDIT : Problem was that both were using the most recent firmware. Who woulda thunk it, up to date firmware breaks stuff. Linksys with shades of Gigafast…

Today was just like the past couple. Didn’t miss much.

I dig landscaping. I dig my ‘real’ job too…I also would really like to spec and build computers for a job…I have so much fun ordering parts, getting them FedEx’d and building a computer…

Beautiful weather. I dig global warming as far as how nice northcentral Pennsylvania is…but man, its gonna suck for anyone living along any coast…which is probably something like 50% of the global population…with a couple hundred feet inland being covered if stuff keeps going the way it is…live for today, what a stupid, short-sighted approach, go buy another SUV soccer-mom. People might as well just shoot their kids in the head, that would be quicker and less painful in the long run…

Got a replacement WET11 to replace the one with the bad antenna connector. Man, wireless networking is so nice. ‘Fudge’ wires…

Blogging is interesting. Sorta like a diary. Very wierd…

I have too much work to do, I have to eat dinner.

Been reading ‘Well of Souls’ series by Jack Chalker. Very very good.

How much time or effort I end up putting into it, who knows…

Seems like I always like to start things, but am never interested in finishing them…

Or even following through very much…
