A letter to Sen. Santorum
June 29th, 2005I was wondering why you didn’t support mandatory limits on global
warming pollutants?
What bit of ‘evidence’ or who paid for your vote?
I want the blunt truth. I don’t want your spin nor lies, I don’t want
to hear about how you are supporting our president, who is so far in bed
with Exxon that you can see his toes poking out from under the covers.
I want to hear WHY you voted to not limit these pollutants.
1) Expensive to energy companies? (lobbyist pressure?)
2) Presidential pressure?
3) ‘research’ showing there is no global warming?
4) Fear of saying ‘I was wrong’, so you persist in your reckless course
of action?
I am completely fed up with the short-sighted and corrupt fashion with
which my government conducts its business.
I want you to know that I DO NOT consider myself to be governed by
elected officials such as yourself. You spend money and say whatever
you can to get in office, and then spend the least amount of effort to
keep your position while making sure that everything goes as smooth as
possible for your rich friends while you attempt to negiotate more power
for yourself.
Shame on you.
