Hello!
I just wanted to say how much I like your TV and radio stations and how ‘balanced’ I feel public broadcasting (radio in paticular) is currently. Sometimes NPR and other public programming is critical of the government, but public media should always be critical of the government, regardless of who’s in charge. The last thing I want is a mouthpiece pumping propaganda directly into my head. I want both sides of the issues, but I want it from an independent source. The thing they say about people who want positions of power is that typically they are the least likely you can trust with that power…regardless of what ideology they court to get there…
“Don’t trust the government.” I do NOT want Kenneth Tomlinson having anything to do with public media sources.
Worst. Idea. Ever.
There are enough lies fed to people as ‘truth’ from ‘people they trust’ because they read, hear or watch these people: “If they said it on TV, it must be true’: (you can’t see it but I am shaking my head, head in hands, sobbing at the thought)
Thank you for your time,
Garrett

If peltiers created movement of heat with the application of
electricity, it seemed like ‘it should just be’ that you could generate
electricity from the movement of heat (and it turns out to be a lot more
common than I suspected!):

the direct science behind how the two ‘movements’ are related
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTG
a practical application of how the Seebeck Effect is used in the real world.

and, finally, it was under my nose the whole time. shame I spend so
much time with RTD’s and practically none with Thermocouples, maybe I
would have noticed this sooner. I believe we do have a number of
thermocouples laying around…maybe I can make something happen

…when its this hard to get into Canada…
Didn’t someone once say that we can’t change how we live and work, or
the terrorists have won?
Congratulations Terrorists!
Also, congratulations to those who were in danger of losing their
livelyhood with the end of the cold war…
