FP is fuel system cleaner, fuel stabilizer, UCL, and provides extra combustion energy.
Fuel Power is a cleaner, combustion enhancer, works well with gasoline, possibly even better with diesel. Definitely safe for continuous use- it’s been in every tank except one in my car for the past 10-11 months- well over 20,000 miles.
Octane: In some cars( like mine) it seems to give a mild octane boost effect to gasoline. Chevron 93 plus FP= “hog heaven” for my DOHC Neon, plus I get a mileage incease of ~1.5 mpg(Context: say, from 33.5 mpg avg to a full 35 mpg avg). Some report being able to go from 91 octane to 87 with the use of Fuel Power.
For summer I needed a fuel with better octane ratings than found in this area, so I added the Outlaw to help boost it. Higher octane fuel allows a cooler running engine in the summer. 87 Octane is fine for the winter since your engine will heat up faster with lower octane fuel.
Someone asked me for a brew that contained no MMT so I published the Neutra/FP mix without MMT and increased the treament rate.
The non-MMT brew was 1 quart Neutra to 3 quarts FP and 2 oz. per 5 gallons. The MMT-added brew was 1 oz. per ten gallons.
On FP usage I am seeing great analysis results using the product to lower nitration and insolubles readings.
I am experimenting with lower dosages for a engine that has used the product for a while ( 2 or 3 months of driving) to a plateau or stabilization in the readings mentioned above.
I then lower to 1/2 ounce (and lower) per 5 gallons until I see MPG drop or a rise in Nox or insolubles and bump back to the low dose.
Once an engine Fuel system and CC is clean we can moderate the use and NOT allow build up if fine tuned dosages are used.
FP really adds the solvency that is missing in our current fuel formulations at a very affordable price.
I haven’t tried the nuetra mix version Mola has but I will.

I know this thread is mostly about gasoline engines, but the use of FP in diesel fuel can achieve great results. Diesel fuel is normally very dirty, contains water and contaminants. George at AVLube did a test on many different diesel fuels and they were terrible. Now with diesel fuel being blended for winter, the rate of poor fuel remains.
I use the FP in my 01 Ford PSD at the rate of 1 oz per 5 gallons of diesel fuel. I use this ratio and do not vary it because of the fuel issues. Results after 4 months use, oil analysis was extremely low on wear metals, and no issues with soot or OXY of NIT. All were very low. The engine runs quieter, not the pronounced diesel knock I was getting and the smoke on start up has been eliminated.
I personally think on a diesel engine the recommended ratio of 1 oz per 5 gallons can be maintained through out the life of the vehicle due to the poor quality of the fuel. If I had a way to buy bulk and filter my own fuel, then a reduced amount of FP could probably be used. About every fourth tank fill-up I have started to add 1 ounce of LC per 5 gallons instead of the FP. I am very happy with the results with this method.
