A late night…
February 10th, 2006Had some hiccups with the installation, left me with some time to browse the internet, and I found these tidbits:
Abducted American journalist Jill Carroll appeared in a video
broadcast on Kuwaiti television Thursday, urging the U.S. government to meet her
kidnappers’ demands. “I’m here. I’m fine. Please, just do whatever they want.
Give them whatever they want as quickly as possible. There is very short time.
Please do it fast,” she says. Carroll, 28, was kidnapped January 7 in western
Baghdad after attempting to meet with an Iraqi official.

The thing is, ’she says’ is bullshit. She is reading off a card. While I am sure she is pretty sure she is going to die, she is saying those things because they have a gun literally to her head. My opinion on this is that the journalists are doing her a disservice by printing the story in such a sensational manner.
And, the best news I’ve had in a while:
Vice President Cheney’s former chief of staff, I. Lewis “Scooter”
Libby, told a grand jury he was “authorized by his superiors” to disclose
classified information from an intelligence report to reporters, according to
the special prosecutor in the CIA leak case.

Yes, that’s right. Bush and Cheney authorized classified information to be leaked for their own personal political agenda, in order to bolster their failing lies by undermining their critics. Perfect. Great. Liars and crooks, throw them all in jail.
