Pollywogs!

Is a pretty damn good movie. Personally I thought it was pretty much perfect. Kelley said it was slightly hard to follow and didn’t quite keep her entertained throughout. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I can see why it was made into a major motion picture versus, say, 1984. 1984…well, it sorta just sucks the hope out of you. Vendetta puts hope into you…I don’t agree, however, with Entertainment Weekly’s review…I didn’t find that it ‘hit me over the head’ with topical relevance. It was certainly an excellent warning, and certainly relevant in todays times…but in no way was it propagandistic. Yea, reading the final paragraph of Owen Gleiberman’s review again, I think he is the one hitting me over the head with topical relevance…
