Pollywogs!

What if it was carefully orchestrated incompetance.

What if it was conciously crafted in order to build a more dangeroius 'new world order'.

What if it was a plan to continue justification for un-fucking-believable military expendatures.

What if it really was a consipracy.

I guess you could call it self-defense.  Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz the Bush administration…they guys have been around for a while.  Decades in some cases.  They all harken back to the same 'school', PNAC. 

I think the 'echoing in the background' is there.  The initial filmy framework, like a fleeting bubble on the breeze, an idea has formed and it tenuously flittering about.  The US public has gone through the stages of Grief : denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance…most people now accept that George Bush is no good as a president.  

Will they come to realize he was the figurehead of one of the most dangerous groups to ursurp control of the worlds remaining superpower, who played god with the lives of millions of people around the world to 'keep business good'? 

Its been a little quiet around here lately.  Been busy, but things have also been going well in general for the US.  The public is waking up, they've grieved their fantasy regarding Bush.  The winds of change are in the air.  However, if we really want to stamp out this maddness from the soul of our society, the battle for the minds of the people is just beginning.  They need the blinders torn off.  I think I've found the theme of my blog for the next couple months.  

If things go really well, Bush & Co. will end up in jail, the PNAC and all of those involved will be tried for treason against the US public.  If things go really bad (well, really well for Bush & Co and their friends at PNAC) the terrorists will take advantage of the 'planned incompetance' 'just in time' to salvage Bush's floundering presidency and if Bush is really lucky, Congress might just hand him the keys to the car and declare martial law.  Can you imagine it?  You know thousands would dissapear, dissent would be stifled.  I'd be gone: if the software they run at the Pentagon is worth anything, it would have even sniffed this little backwater out. 

If things continue 'business as usual', Bush & Co. will slip back into the woodwork and continue their machinations from the saftey of their refuge at PNAC, like cockroaches scurrying from the light of the truth, to continue their reckless and destructive self-serving scheming.  I'm hoping for either of the more extreme outcomes, myself.  The Status Quo is injustice, waste, corruption…it is a god damn travesty that schools and colleges have to scrounge money for education FOR FUCKS SAKE…while the MIC has money thrown at it willy-nilly with no regard for results.  Need $100 billion for some pet project that keeps you and your friends 'employeed' for the next ten years?  No problem…etc etc until I vomit from thinking about it.  I'd rather they come out and say openly that they are interested in the absolute control, as I accused them in the spring of 2001.  I'd rather 'the shit go down', either good or bad, so that all of the cards are on the table.  Imagine the US with 1/4 the military spending, with free education through college for every child, universal healthcare, reduced taxes (and I'm not talking about rega-fucking-nomics here…), a small and intelligent military force geared towards global policing, not global domination.  A vastly reduced nuclear capacity.  

You can achieve victory through economic, cultural and technological means.  Killing the other guy with a weapon is so old fashioned and terrible…
