An update from Camden

May 28th, 2006

Hello.

Saw the Pearl Jam concert last night.  Got a couple good pictures, and a couple short video clips.

Concert was good, the band was pretty tight.  The crowd was ok…I don't have much room to talk, I barely bob my head…in fact, if I am bobbing my head slightly that is me going crazy and rocking out…

I think the band is working on something consciously these days, working towards something, but whether the crowd had really caught on yet, I don't think.

Only got three good hours of sleep.  Had a hell of a time getting out of the Murder Capital of the US last night tho…met a couple folks (a couple couples in the same boat as us, wanting to get the hell out of Camden at 1AM with a real hardcore lack of taxi action).

I'll come back and flesh this out further with pics and a more complete review once I'm back in normal-land.

UPDATE: Made it back home alive.  Photos and soon videos.  Check back if the videos aren't up, there is one which is a real winner…

I understand what your saying about “rocking out”.

Granted, I will bob my head. I will also sing along, but that’s about it. Once Ozzy’s on, I get a little more loose. Jump some, do all the antics.

I’m there for the music man. Not the pits, not the drunks, not the drugs. Granted, I tend to like to have a buzz on on but I’m not walking around looking for acid or worse!

Glad you made it home safely. Look forward to a deeper review.

The winneR! Sounded good. Looked like some empty seats around?

I think you should have gotten up there and danced w/ that guy and had K record it. Share the love…

That guy was dancing to the opening act, someone called My Morning Jacket. They were actually suprisingly good, very tight.
