How old is too old?

October 25th, 2006

Eat less, live to be 160?

I'm living forever.  I want to be 22 for the rest of my life.  Seriously.  I don't want to age another day.  Hell, I am already too old!

I could really dig feeling at 140 how most people feel like at 70, or feeling at 100 how most people feel at 50.  But is it too late for me to start?  And, does it really work on humans?  It seems to work on everything else, as well as old wisened Japanese men…but…

Man do I love to eat.  Perhaps I would appreciate food more if I ate sparingly.  It is certainly an arresting idea!

I’d like to live that long as long as I could live on the beach in Tulum ;)
And if my cats could also live that long, that would be good.

    160? Jesus…

If I’m a betting man I’ll see you all on the other side between 80-90, not that I’m being a downy clowny.

However if you do live to be 160 I imagine you’ll get to look forward to having tv cameras shoved in your face every birthday as the RN taps her/his watch because time’s up and you are due for a bath. You see, you’re smelly due to the #2 you dropped in your pants because you couldn’t make it to the bathroom on your own…

It is a rather radical life change, moving to a reduced calorie diet, one that no one has proven works as effectively in humans as it has in other animals.

If I lived to 160, but what you described came first? Three or four years before it got that bad I would have gotten myself a big fat bottle of something sleepytime and taken too much…
