Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.
I mean, COME ON Michael…that single point, lets ignore the rest for a moment, that single point completely lays bare the fundamental problem the United States is currently facing. Someone got religion in my government! Well, someone got government in my religion!

It is NOT the governments business to say who can and cannot marry. NOR is it the business of the Pope or any other high fa luting religious-type person. Marriage is a CIVIL ceremony / union which may (or may not) be performed in conjunction with a religious ceremony….
State and Religion should not touch, they do not play well together.
