Diebold: “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year.”

January 9th, 2008

Except this year it isn’t Bush, it is Hillary Clinton…

As we all know, Bush stole the election twice. Let us examine Ohio with their tricky tabulators, Diebold ’special election machiens’, and other illegal goings-on handing Bush the White House. Further, let us check the national stats for that ill-fated day:

“For example, Ohio exit polls predicted that Kerry would win 52.1 percent of the vote to Bush’s 47.9 percent. But the tallied vote had Bush winning 51 percent of the vote to Kerry’s 48.5 percent. The difference, then, between Ohio exit poll projections and the actual tallied vote for Kerry comes to 3.6 percent. Based on the size of the sample the exit polling firms were working with, the likelihood of this happening is less than 1 in 1000. Doing a similar analysis with exit polls in Florida, Freeman found a less than three in 1000 chance that the tallied results would differ as much as they did from the exit poll projections. And while Kerry did carry Pennsylvania, the chance that he would receive only 50.8 percent of the vote after exit polls indicated he would get 54.1 percent (a 3.3 percent difference) is less than two in 1000. Finally, according to Freeman, the odds against all three of these statistical anomalies occurring together are 250 million to one.“As much as we can say in social science that something is impossible,” he writes, “it is impossible that the discrepancies between predicted and actual vote counts in the three critical battleground states of the 2004 election could have been due to chance or random error.””

“In Ohio, more than 35 counties used Diebold machines and nationwide, according to the company’s Web site “over 75,000 Diebold electronic voting stations are being used.””

Now, let us look at New Hampshire:

Method Hillary Clinton Barack Obama
Diebold Machines 53.23% 46.77%
Hand Count 47.47% 52.53%

Notice anything unusual? Yea, again through Diebold machines, the vote is being stolen again in the SAME EXACT FASHION it was stolen in 2004.

2004, Kerry and Bush had their results flipped inside the Diebold equipment (at the least).

2008, Clinton and Obama had their results flipped inside the Diebold equipment.

We live in a Banana Republic. This is a travesty, a mockery, a fucking crime.

Now, why would the neocon war machine want Clinton to be President?

Who said the following quotes:

“Every nation has to either be with us, or against us. Those who harbor terrorists, or who finance them, are going to pay a price.”

“In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al Qaeda members…It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.”

Who has the MIC donated the most money to?

Who (besides Guiliani) would be most likely to carry on the “George Bush” legacy?

Yes, in each case the same person Diebold giving our Democratic nomination to. That way, the neocons win if a Republican is elected (more likely with the polarizing effect Hillary Clinton has on people), and they neocons win if a Democrat is elected (you know, right before the people take to the streets and throw the Diebold machines in a pile and set fire to the sham).

Update: Posted onDailyKos, a contrary opinion well argued and written by a political professional in Washington DC. What I assumed to be a dry run of the rigged election machinery he claims is just the election machinery operating correctly. Interesting.

Is it really that clear cut and simple?

Time and time again the public has been burned by special interests, is it unusual it ends up being a knee-jerk reaction that they can’t be trusted (which I think is a completely valid and healthy response given the background)? I mean, look at the constant stream of bullshit they try to feed us to further their political and economic goals.

Demanding clarity, transparency and honesty is a necessity.

Demanding accuracy is a necessity.

http://www.ronpaulwarroom.com/?p=749: this seems to indicated widespread douchebaggery.

Further, DailyKos has been accused of being a mouthpiece for the DNC. If so, they are (for all intents and purposes) to be trusted exactly as much as the GOP mouthpiece, Faux News. If not a mouthpiece, at least a place to distribute the parties speaking points, it seems…

Further Update: Dennis Kucinich has asked for a recount, not due to any supposed discrepancy in his own results, but due to the questions and rumors surrounding the execution of this voting cycle in New Hampshire, simply to restore faith in the election process OR dig out any irregularities or simple illegal activities which may or may not have taken place. Kudos to him for footing the bill!

Yet another update: Ron Paul believes the outcome was correct (at least for his campaign), pretty good article on why too.

Another muthafunkin update:

The New Hampshire recount is a go:

”And therein lies the whole issue. The demand for a recount isn’t about the New Hampshire primary–anything short of a result showing Obama winning by more than say, 5% would still put the vote within the realm of a Clinton “comeback” from Iowa. It’s about the amount of distrust that voters have in the machine voting systems–machines which studies have shown to be not just hackable, but often poorly conceived and constructed. People who conduct business over cell phones, computers, and ATMs are nervous about electronic voting because they feel that something about the whole process has gone amiss; the voting machines’ source codes are proprietary to the companies so any flaws remain hidden except when extensive studies, such as those conducted by Ohio and California are done. Many states bought the systems quickly after the Help America Vote Act of 2002 made electronic voting mandatory, investing millions of dollars in e-voting and finding out about problems afterward. The EAC’s oversight of HAVA has been questionable; until recently, the machines’ manufacturers selected the labs that tested their voting systems.”

Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this! A quick look at the numbers tells you everything you need to know. The media won’t even discuss it as a possibility, but the most obvious explanation for discrepencies in the numbers is the Diebold machines. We do not live in a democracy.
