After eating the pizza Saturday I felt pretty full, not stuffed as I would have expected but then the rest of the evening all I could think about was food. I just wanted to eat, even though I wasn't hungry. I was feeling tormented and there really wasn't anything specific I wanted...though Lipton ring-Os went through my mind...I think I was craving salt. I ended up having 2 snacks and 2 glasses of wine.... :(
I should have went to bed at a decent time...that would definitely help me to not snack too much.

Other than that, we have been really good...actually eating less for breakfast & lunch than what is recommended (we skip out on the dairy it recommends...neither of us drink milk and eating cheese or cottage cheese for breakfast doesn't appeal to us...sometimes we eat yogurt tho).

Still haven't weighed myself since the first week so I don't know where I'm at. I rode the bike 25 mins this wknd...hopefully I can try to work up to 3 times a week.

Wow! I can't believe how dedicated you guys are being to this calorie restriction diet! I believe Todd and I fell hard off the wagon Saturday night at TGIFridays (appretizers and booze all around!). I'll bet we consumed your weekly calorie allottment in just one night. We have not been counting calories but still continue to try to generally eat better.

I don't feel as though I am making any improvement weight-wise, which goes to show that eating heathier is not the same as eating "less". Also, I need to step up the exercise routine.

Thanks for the update on your continued efforts! It's good to hear inspirational stories from my "diet buddies".
