Pollywogs!

So, Obama came to Williamsport yesterday. When I “got the email”, I asked Kelley and she said she’d like to go too. Tickets were available in downtown Williamsport, so she went down and stood in a very long line for about an hour to get tickets. By the time she got to the front, they went from handing out four to handing out two. We had some friends who expressed interest in going, and luckily she chatted with some folks in line with her who later were nice enough to chase her down the street to give her an extra ticket. Our friend Melissa also managed to find someone who had an extra ticket, and so a rabid core group of Obama supporters got to see and hear our future President in person!

Oh, and completely unrelated, Canada declared Bisphenol A a toxin. You know, the material they make baby bottles out of. The FDA, however, say’s everything is fine, no need to worry…

I threw away our Nalgene bottles…by nature I error on the side of caution…
