That’s great that lots of people care, are appreciative…but what the fuck does she need $4000 worth of flowers for?????
I hope she at least donates them to give out to hospital patients or something.
I believe that she is going to be donating some (most?) of them to hospitals and the like.
The reason she needs $4000 worth of flowers is that the people who donated, donated because they knew the money was to buy her flowers. There was a short discussion about extra money being donated somewhere else, but everyone didn’t donate money for ‘somewhere else’, we donated money to buy her flowers ;)
$1000 by itself would have probably been excessive, but “we” apparently wanted to make a point. When I donated, she already had a couple hundred bucks, but I thought ‘why not’. Apparently, lots of other people felt the same way as the total grew!
