Pollywogs!

So I read this XKCD comic today. The comic was alright, and it had an amusing alt-text message which I incorporated into a Facebook status update about fasting due to blood work I had done this morning.  I elaborated that I was extending the necessary 12 hour fast into a 24 hour fast for health reasons.

So then my buddy John reads the alt-text quote and replies “You are forgetting one thing:  You are no longer a young adult.”  And a peculiar thing happened to me.   I was suddenly struck by inspiration, I knew exactly what had happened.  I had been inserted into a ragethread.  So I quickly opened up GIMP and hammered out exactly how I felt:
